How to Unlock/Bypass Android Pattern Lock

Here, in this tutorial I am explaining a trick to bypass pattern lock in Android devices. It is not an easy task to bypass the android pattern lock. If someone has forgotten his pattern then this tutorial will be very helpful.

Many people often reset the Android device when they forgot their pattern lock. But the sad thing is that when we reset, we lose all our data and settings of our device. So, here i am writing a new trick to bypass the android lock without reset or losing anything.

  Requirements:

1. You need to set up ADB (Android Debug Bridge) in your Windows PC . See how to easily download and set up ADB in windows here in XDA DEVELOPERS FORUM

2. Usb debugging mode must be enabled in the device . To enable usb debugging , open settings > developer option > usb debugging > tick to enable. ( developer option may be hidden in some devices, to show this option go to settings > about phone > built no (tap on it for 5-6 times ) .

3. Make sure that your computer is equipped with necessary drivers and use your native USB Cable.

Follow below Steps :

1) We assume that your device is locked with pattern and we need to open it . So, first connect your device to your PC using a usb data cable. (Make sure usb debudding is already enabled in the device before it got locked. )

2) Now pressing SHIFT button, Right Click on Adb folder and select “open with command window here”. (Like I have done in the below screenshot)

3) On the cmd window type in “adb devices” (no quotation marks) then hit enter.

4) Then type in “adb shell” (no quotation marks) then hit enter.

5) Now adb shell is open, type “su” (no quotation marks) and hit enter.

6) After entering type “rm /data/system/gesture.key” (no quotation marks) then hit enter.

7) Now just unplug the device from your PC.

8) Congratulations, now the pattern lock is successfully bypassed. Just draw any pattern you want and it will accept it. So, your device is unlocked now. You can normally set up pattern lock again if you want.

How To Hack Android Pattern

Follow These Simple Steps 1. Copy android  lock.zip  file into an sd card (Updated 7 sep, 2016) 2.Switch off the android phone which is locked 3.Put this sd card in that phone 4.Enter into recovery mode by pressing Volume up  +Power button+Home  button in the same time 5.Now select install zip from sd card in recovery mode 6.Select the downloaded file to install 7.After install switch on your mobile normally 8.Now you can see that the  lock screen  or password is disabled completely! Note: Don't panic if your phone ask you for a password, just simply draw a random pattern.
