How to unlock Huawei modem step by step guide

Many people use Huawei modem for internet surfing. At the time of buying the modem they may not be aware of the unlock status of their modem. In few country the mobile operators sell Huawei modem by branding their name on it. Those modem are locked to their own network, That means those modem will only support their network, not any other operators SIM card.

After a few days when the customer try to switch to another operator he found that SIM card not supported. Sad....

There is a good news for them who are facing the problem. You can unlock the modem to use any operators SIM card. Its very easy and simple. Just follow the steps below to unlock your modem.

    THIS GUIDE IS ONLY FOR HUAWEI MODEM, ANY OTHER BRAND IS NOT SUPPORTED OR IF YOU TRY YOUR MODEM MIGHT BE DEAD OR UNUSABLE.

Step-1:

First connect your modem in your pc or laptop. when prompted install the modem as usual.

Step-2

Find the IMEI Number if your modem which is written on the label of the modem. If the lable is gone try to find the IMEI from tools option of your modem dashboard in your PC.

Step-3

Request an unlock code for the IMEI number from Request unlock code.html Just post the IMEI number by comment and wait for reply.

Step-4

After you get the Unlock code and flash code you finished the first step.

Step-5

After you have downloaded the file double click on the file. The file is a portable software which does not need to install. A window will open.
Step-6:

Make sure your modem is connected to your PC. Now click CHECK LOCK button. It will instantly check the lock status of your modem. See weather your modem is locked or not. If it shows OK! NOT LOCKED then your modem does not need to unlock because it is already unlocked. If it shows LOCKED! then you proceed to next step.

Step-7:

If you find your modem locked then insert the unlocked code that you received in step-3 in the UNLOCK CODE BOX and press UNLOCK button. Put the code correctly.
